Finally. I finally made it to London, one of the cities on my travel bucket list and birthplace to the world’s favorite novels. And let me tell you, I did not want to leave! This place was absolutely mesmerizing from every corner to every storefront.
This post is a little bit of a photo diary. Maybe it will bring memories from your past travels, or inspire you to visit London one day!
BOROUGH MARKET
VICTORIA

PEGGY PORSCHEN CAKES
Pullover – H&M
Sunnies – Target
Black Denim Ripped Jeans – Old Navy
Tennis Shoes – Nike
WESTMINSTER
Scarf – Zara

WESTMINSTER ABBEY

BUCKINGHAM PALACE
Sweater – Zara

PICCADILLY CIRCUS
Piccadilly Circus and Oxford Street were all dressed up for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s wedding. Though I did not attend the wedding (I would have if it weren’t my last full day in London), the city was full of Royal Wedding festivities!
COVENT GARDEN
The place to be after a long day of work, all dressed up for the Royal Wedding.

CITY OF LONDON – BLACKFRIARS
SOUTH BANK – MILLENNIUM BRIDGE
TEMPLE/TEMPLE CHURCH
TRAFALGAR SQUARE
TRUE CENTER OF LONDON
This is not only the emotional square of London, but also the literal center of the city (see below). I took a Harry Potter free walking tour given by Alice with one of the Aussie friends I made through Strawberry Tours London (Definitely worth it if you’re a Harry Potter fan. They also have tons of other free tours).
Jacket – Urban Outfitters
Button up – H&M
Denim ankle cut offs – Old Navy
Espadrilles – H&M

CHINATOWN

SOHO – CARNABY STREET

ABBEY ROAD

SOUTHWARK – BERMONDSEY
TOWER BRIDGE
I will never forget Tower Bridge. Your wobbly cobblestone streets and steps still pain me to this day (one month later) when I twisted my ankle, rendering me pretty much useless the rest of my Europe trip.
I managed to push through the pain regardless. I was not letting a twisted ankle ruin the best trip of my life!

Five days is not nearly enough time to see and experience everything that is London, England. There are still many locations and things I didn’t have the time to see, but I am happy to return anytime!
Have you been to London? What was your favorite part of the city? If you haven’t been, what are you most excited to see?
Until next time,

I haven’t been to London yet but it’s on the top of my bucket list and your post whetted my appetite, Diana! These are some exceptional pictures. How many days should I stay there to see all of the highlights?

I’m glad you enjoyed it! All photos taken with the iPhone 8 lol
Honestly, give it a week and a half. The changing of the guards happen outside of Buckingham Palace, I didn’t see it bc I was too busy packing everything into 4.5 days. I also spent part of my day at the Warner Brother’s studio tour for Harry Potter.
If you’re into it, you may want to do a couple of pub crawls and go into some pretty popular museums. You’ll even have time to venture out to Stonehenge if you wish!
