As peak season is arriving quickly to Las Vegas, I took the Friday off and drove to sunny San Diego, California to visit my BFF, Jasmin! Considering I haven’t seen her since my graduation, I figured it was time I paid her and southern California a visit.
The first stop I made was to Communal Coffee, this incredibly cute coffee shop sitting on Fern Street. I got the avo toast with a rose and lavender latte. The entire store is actually Instagram-worthy if you take the time to explore it a little.
Home to an absolutely charming wild flower shop is Native Poppy.
HERRINGBONE | LA JOLLA
Herringbone in La Jolla is the place to be during happy hour. If you love a great atmosphere and $1 oysters, you’ll love this restaurant. All the best items on the happy hour menu are $6, so it’s a steal!
RAISED BY WOLVES
The modern speakeasy is perfected by Raised by Wolves, where the only way to get in is through a secret passage way. This seemingly normal liquor shop transports you to a dark, secret pub via revolving door! Carefully curated cocktails (say that three times fast) will make you feel absolutely magical. Another added touch of magic is the ladies lavoratory – Sorry boys, I can’t exactly give you any insider tips on your washroom. Look up and you will not be disappointed.
